The best thing about living here is the geographical location. You turn a corner and enter the Nanjing Road Walkway. You can walk to the Bund for ten minutes to see the night view of the Huangpu River. You don't have to rush the subway to catch the time. You don't have to worry about walking slowly until late at night. There are many local small restaurants just a few steps down the stairs. If you want to eat local food, raw pan frying and small Wonton, you can find them downstairs. You don't have to go far to find food. The breakfast restaurant on the second floor has a real variety of products. The freshly cooked small Wonton and noodles are delicious. The price of 40 yuan per person is absurdly high in this area. You can eat a bowl of hot food before going out in the morning, and you won't be hungry all morning.
Previously, a few reviews mentioned that the elevator and hallway carpet were a bit old, but in reality, it didn't affect the experience at all. There are staff on duty in the lobby 24 hours a day, and when I return home late, I can see the warm light in the lobby from afar, giving me a sense of security. Once I wandered around the Bund until late and accidentally left my small pendant by the Bund. With a try it out attitude, I asked the front desk, and the staff immediately helped me contact nearby patrol personnel. They quickly found it for me. This thoughtfulness completely exceeded my expectations for a locked hotel.
After walking in Shanghai for three days, I have almost explored all the old roads and international architectural complexes around me, so I don't have to waste time commuting. If I get tired of playing, I can always turn back to the hotel and collapse.
